CENTENARY'S COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

Centenary Methodist Church strives to give back to the community through our outreach programs that include Lil Cherubs and our annual Oil Change as well as with our community assistance program. Through our community assistance program, as funds are available due to the generous donation of our congregation members, we can host a food pantry along with helping community members with utility bills. 

Our utility assistance program helps those in the Boyle County community that are behind on utility bills. We assist with these on Thursdays by appointment only and a calendar of the next dates for assistance is available by clicking on the link below.

Please note that these are the guidelines for utility assistance:

• Due to the large demand, our program is limited to Boyle County residents.
• The utility bill must be in disconnect status.
• We do have a maximum amount that we can assist with to be able to help others.
• Our financial policy states that we can only assist someone every 6 months with a utility bill.  Assistance is based on the address as we cannot assist multiple people living in the same house with multiple bills. Anything outside of 6 months is at the discretion of our pastor and is based on circumstances and funding available.

If you would like to schedule an appointment for financial assistance, you can do so by clicking the link below which will take you to a calendar of our available dates.  Appointments are in-person and please bring photo identification along with a copy of your utility bill.  If you work during the scheduled time, please contact us at the information provided on the booking appointment.  

Our food pantry bags include non-perishable items and are available during church office hours of Monday – Thursday from 9:00am until 4:00pm. Please call (859) 236-4800 to make sure that we have bags available. Food assistance has a limit of one bag per household every 30 days.
